STUDENTS
What are your plans?
- Improve your skills and stay on the cutting edge of technology by participating in a workshop on Monday 30 November. Workshops will provide instruction on a range of topics and decision aids for researchers, students, and managers from across the globe. Find out more about the available workshops by clicking here.
- Stay on top of the current research world by attending the session you want to. A general schedule is now posted on the Important Dates page and will be updated as sessions develop. Find out about the keynote speaker Bruce Babbitt or one of the 10 plenary speakers and much more on the Scientific Program page.
- Have some fun after a day of sessions by Investigate Historic Locations and Museums, take in some of the local Fine Arts, go on a Tour, enjoy some good food and Southern hospitality or just get in some play time in the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia.
- Do not forget about the five one day field trips and one two day field trip option on Saturday 5 December. Find out more about the Holocene barrier Island communities of the Little St. Simons Island to the fire adapted southern pine forest of Frances Marion National Forest on the Field Trips page.
Poster Presentaitons:
Posters are visual presentations of research. Although multiple media forms are important in a
poster session a poster should be a self-explanatory document. Because of limited space, posters
should focus on a single message while using figures such as graphics and photos to illustrate the
information. Text should be clear and concise. >> poster presentation guidelines (pdf)
